Current Activities

At this stage the Museum is working on our film still under production, based on the folk puppeteers. this film is called The Daying Art which will be completed within this year (1997).

The Museum is planing to acquire more puppets of historical significance. We have had already a wide response from various foreign puppet companies who wish to donate a puppet to the Museum. The Museum will also acquire books, video and other related literature for the Library.

The folk arts and puppet preservation program will set up a Museum which will house permanent exhibitions on various folk arts, showing their origins and traditions. It will send out its own exhibitions and invite exhibitions from all over the world.

The site for this Museum has already been chosen and the Museum is in the initial stages of construction.
