international theatre festival is a relatively new project of the Workshop.
Inspite of this it has received great acclaim from the international theatrical

The first festival took place in the March of 1996 and brought together over 175 delegates from all over the world. Over 16 groups from 10 countries participated in this festival. Along with the dramas performed by the delegates, numerous workshops on theatrics were also held.
The second festival is scheduled to be held in the November of 1997, and so far there has been a great response from the international community of dramatists.
Inspite of major problems the first international theatre festival was a major success and this also now an ongoing event of the Workshop and we look forward to all the help we can get nationally and internationally for this event.
